ODISHA POWER TRANSMISSION CORPORATION LIMITED (OPTCL):
 
A GOLD Rated PSU of Odisha and one of the largest Transmission Utility in the country was incorporated in March 2004 under the Companies Act, 1956 as a company wholly owned by the Government of Odisha to undertake the business of transmission and wheeling of electricity in the State. OPTCL became fully operational with effect from 9th June 2005. The Company owns an Extra High Voltage Transmission system and operated about 13,578.790 ckt km of transmission lines at 400 kV, 220 kV, 132 kV levels, and 143 nos. of substations with a transformation capacity of 18,068.50 MVA having 366 nos of transformers.

Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and electronic engineering with at least 60% mark in aggregate from a recognized university/institution.

For SC/ST/PWD Candidates, the minimum percentage of mark required is 50%

  • Management Trainee Civil (MT CIVIL)

Degree in Civil engineering with at least 60% mark in aggregate from a recognized university/institution.

Passing of section A&B of IE(India) in civil engineering with a minimum 50% mark in aggregate.

For SC/ST/PWD Candidates, the minimum percentage of mark required is 50%

  • Management Trainee HRD (MT HRD)

Full-time PG/Diploma of two-year duration in personal management/ Industrial relationship and MBA with specialization in HRD from a recognized university with at least 60% mark in aggregate.

For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of work required is 50%.

  • Management Trainee Finance (MT FINANCE)

Degree with the passing of the final examination of the Institute of CA of India/ Institute of Cost and works account of India.

BE/B.Tech/ IT/ MCA/M.Tech in computer science with at least 60% mark in aggregate from a recognized university or institute.

For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of work required is 50%.

 A candidate must be passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or passes such other qualification equivalent thereto.

HSC pass from recognized board or equivalent and national trade certificate in electrician certificate from a recognized institute or university by SCTE&VT/ NCVT with a minimum 60%  mark for UR and SEBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

N.B: Lineman-MV permit (with learner permit of workman- HT) from ELOB Odisha

  • Junior Telecom Trainee (JTTT)

HSC pass from recognized board or equivalent and national trade certificate in electronics, mechanics, radio television mechanics, radio mechanic trade from the institution by SCTE&VT/ NCVT with a minimum 60%  mark.

For UR and SEBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
